Experience the magic of Tunisia's ancient landscapes as you ride through what was once the bottom of an ancient ocean. The Sahara Desert offers some of the most spectacular and accessible sand riding in the world.
This 8-day adventure, featuring 5 riding days, combines thrilling sand dune navigation with cultural immersion. Each night, we camp under the brilliant desert stars, sharing stories around the campfire and experiencing the profound silence of the Sahara.

Sahara desert
Like surfing but up and down, the feeling of ridign your bike through the dunes is unmatchable.
Desert bivouac
This is real desert camping: no towns nearby, no light pollution, just a wide-open sky and a fire to sit around after the ride.
Oasis
Riding out of the dunes into an oasis feels like stepping into another world — palm trees, still water, and shade after hours of sun and sand.
Cultural inmersion
Beyond the riding, you'll get a real taste of Tunisian culture — local villages, traditional food, and the warmth of Berber hospitality.

Arrival — Tunis
Welcome to Tunisia. Drop your bags and meet the team. The rest of the day is free to explore the capital at your own pace, with time to see the medina and other city highlights.
Off-grid Bound
Arrival to the starting point in Nefta. Prep and rest ahead of the adventure. Briefing after dinner.
Salt Lake Crossing
First kilometers, first taste of the desert.
Into The Dunes
Sandy ride ahead. Sand tracks, sand rivers and the first big dunes.
Heart of the Sahara
Not to be fooled by the stage length. We ride deeper into the Sahara crossing massive dunes and soft fech-fech chots.
Destination: Oasis
Another big day of dune riding to reach a well deserved rest at an oasis
Dunes To Waves
Final stage, out of the Sahara throught the matmata mountains to reach the ocean

Need to know
Riding level
Some off-road experience required. You should be comfortable standing on the pegs on loose gravel and willing to tackle river crossings.
Weather
August is the optimal window. Expect anything from sun to horizontal rain in a single day — waterproof gear is non-negotiable.
Insurance
Comprehensive travel and riding insurance is mandatory, covering off-road riding, remote rescue and medical evacuation.
The bikes
Fully-maintained adventure motorcycles with fuel included. Bringing your own bike can be arranged on request.
Group size
Maximum 10 riders per group plus professional guides and a support vehicle. Shared support in remote areas with no services.

Yes — if you are confident with off-road basics. Horn to Horn is demanding but our guides adapt the pace and lines to the group. If you are unsure, get in touch and we'll talk it through honestly.
Yes. Rental with fuel is included, but shipping your own bike can be arranged on request. Contact us and we'll help with the logistics.
Every crossing gets a briefing first, and the support vehicle carries a recovery kit. Riding-inclusive travel insurance is mandatory for exactly these situations.
Domestic flights within the itinerary are included. International flights to and from Iceland are not — we recommend not booking your return for the final tour morning.
A deliberate mix: hotels with full facilities on some nights and basic mountain lodges deep in the highlands on others. Full expectations are shared before departure.
